I had a dream. You watered that dream. The road was not always smooth but in retrospect, I am smitten with every obstacle since it helped me step out of complacency into challenges that have created the Gloria Maduka sound. My debut album, "of Light and Angels," is my gift to you, my message to you that you must forge ahead. The only reason you won't attain your dream—whatever it is—is if you choose not to. I may not know you personally but I can relate to you on many levels.

The best advice I can give is to never jeopardize your values and integrity while pursuing your dreams. Stay true to who you are and mean what you say. Do not spend your whole life waiting for your dream to happen. Go on and happen to your dream! I am not where my destiny will eventually lead me—yet—but this album will forever be my proudest achievement for I chose to conquer every obstacle. Let this be testament that you can be anything you've ever dreamed of even if only a few believe you. I promise your spirit will get utmost gratification from your strength of mind.
